Amboy Territorial Park was established over 50 years ago to celebrate the opening of the first Amboy Post Office.
The Park is home to Amboy Territorial Days which is held every year over the 2nd weekend in July. Other Park events have included Easter egg roll, Veteran’s celebrations, Christmas Lights Festival, the Amboy Riding Club Saddle Weekend, and more.
The beautiful grounds, play areas and well-maintained restrooms are open to the public daily. A large pavilion, kitchen facilities, two buildings and stages are available to be reserved by local groups and organizations. Local non-profit community organizations (Veteran’s organizations, etc.) may use the buildings at no cost.
| ALL funds earned from events and park use fees, after expenses, are put into savings and are used to improve the Park and to assist our local community. |
Please consider volunteering some of your time to support Amboy Territorial Park! It’s a great way to support your community, meet your neighbors and have some fun! Volunteers are always needed.
Amboy Territorial Park is solely owned and operated by the non-profit, all-volunteer Amboy Territorial Park Association. The Association meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in building #2 at the park. The public is welcome to attend these meetings and to join the Amboy Territorial Park Association.
